It’s that time of year! Every year we go cut down a fresh Christmas Tree and this year we went back to our favorite farm- Minter’s Farm in Fayetteville, Georgia.
Apparently due to the crazy storms we’ve had, like everything else it seems, Christmas Trees have been harder to find this year but Minter’s Farm had the same prices and same amazing down home feel as every other year. You jump out of your car, grab a saw, and load up on a hayride over to the trees, then catch a ride back when you’re done. Our kids love the adventure of it and the hayride makes it feel more like an adventure.
The kids were extra careful this year with their choosing of a tree. They compared three different types and we had to walk ALL over the field before they finally settled on the ones we saw first.
This year since I had help, we even brought our big fluffy girl along
and we finished up by taking pictures on one of the cute old trucks they park throughout the fields for pictures! These are some of my favorite photos every year.
If this doesn’t scream alternative blue grass band, I don’t know what does
All that’s left is to get it decorated!
