Puppies!!!

The pups have arrived! A week ago today, our sweet, fluffy GoldenDoodle gave birth to 8 beautiful, healthy puppies! As you can see from the picture, they are getting nice round tummies and are great at sleeping. We have loved getting to have these sweet little angels in our home and stare at them (they still have a few weeks before they can really be held and snuggled). It’s hard to get a good picture because we keep the lights dim in their whelping area, but they are soooo sweet and it’s a fun new adventure for our family!

The boys have been really sweet with the puppies. They know they can’t touch or hold them, and when they’re allowed to go look at them (we keep them in a locked room so the boys can’t go in unsupervised), they stay so quiet and are really sweet about sitting and just looking at them, and they always make sure that Shelby (our dog) has enough food and water. We keep toying with the idea of moving out to somewhere with more land so we can have more animals and teach the boys more about caring for animals and having land. It’s always been a dream of ours, but we also live in an area with really good schools, so it would be hard to move. Either way, we are in love with these little puppies. I’ll keep updating as they get bigger!!!
