While the little city we live in is quirky and fun, one thing that we miss here is having big farms with things like Pumpkin Patches. We had been wanting the fun of going to a pumpkin patch but didn’t really have time with all of the things we’ve had going on lately, so we decided to do a quick little visit to our local fire station where they sell pumpkins as a fundraiser each year!
I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of seeing these four handsome boys together.
Turns out this little pumpkin patch was the perfect little excursion for our family. The kids got to run around and choose our pumpkin and climb on the old firetruck they had on display for fun. I’ve lived here my entire life and never been to their little sale and I’m so glad we finally made trip over there, the kids loved it.
Did I stick Toan right in the middle of the pumpkins soley for the opportunity to take an adorable picture? Of course!
Maybe some year we’ll go to a big pumpkin patch but this had plenty to do for a quick visit plus they loved getting to see the firetrucks. We always carve our pumpkins and Brandon usually tries to top what he did the year before so I am excited to how they turn out. Last year he let Rhett and Ford help him so this is what we ended up with:
I hope this years are just as awesome
