The other day I shared my post of 55 Easter Basket Ideas that you can make at home, and today I wanted to share a tutorial for how I made the cute little bunny Popcorn bags! They are super easy and can be filled with anything. My kids love Skinny Pop so thatโs what we used but it would be super cute filled with marshmellows, goldfish, any snack!
Supplies:
Ziplocs
Popcorn (or snack of your choice)
Construction Paper or a Paper Plate
Sharpies
Tape
Twine
Step 1: Draw some ears and cut them out. I free handed mine on the back of a plate and then cut them out.
ย
Step 2: Draw the bunny face. I used a black sharpie and drew eyes, a nose, and a mouth to my cute little bunny.
Step 3:ย Fill your bag. Fill your bag about 3/4 full of whatever yummy snack you chose!
Step 4: Color your ears and tape them on. If you want to add a cute little colored area inside the ear, do it now! I used yellow sharpie for mine but pink would be super cute too. Next, tape the ears on. I simply used scotch tape, looped it around and stuck it very close to the base of the ear and then stuck it to the bag
Step 5: Tie the bag. After zipping your bag shut, flip it upside down and tie some twine around the bottom so it makes more of a full, balloon type shape.
Step 6: Push in the corners. While holding your bag, push in the top two corners so the bag becomes more rounded at the top, like a bunny head!
Now youโve got a cute bunny bag! These are so easy to make and my kids loved them. They look adorable and go great in an Easter basket or just for a special snack on a normal day! Kids who are old enough to use scissors can even make their own, I know my kids always love a new craft!
