Like I said in my last post, we’ve been swimming lots lately! It’s been really warm here and we got invited to go swimming with my best friend Lynds and her cute daughter.
This little guy is so happy in the water. All my babies have loved water, but most of them needed a break after a little bit, but not Ford. He’ll stay in his float as long as I’ll let him and when I take him out, he still wants to be in the pool. The older boys were swimming around in their lifejackets and got familiar with the pool again so fast. They were jumping off the diving board in no time and when I took Ford out of his float, Rhett insisted on getting in haha
Once I got him to get out, I got a chance to work on learning to swim with Rhett. Sawyer has been doing really really well, he even was swimming in the deep end a little bit. Rhett is getting really close, he just goes for it and just needs to pay a little more attention (he is too silly for his own good sometimes) and he’ll be swimming!
Swimways is promoting National Learn to Swim Day on May 21st and encouraging parents to get out and teach their kids to swim and practice good water safety. We’ve always taken a lot of effort to make sure that our boys are safe in the water since we spend so much time at the lake and in the pool and because it’s fun! With all the pools opening up in May it’s a great time to get outside and get into the water. We love how easy it is to take our Swimways Baby Spring Float to the pool (it folds up!), it is the best float for baby! Ford played it in for so long, and so did Rhett haha.
You can join Swimways for the #SwimWays National Learn to Swim Day Twitter Party on Thursday May 19th from 1-2 PM ET! It’s going to be fun and I’ll be there!

The boys look so at home in the water and so cute. It was great to see Ford in the Swim Float. I think it is great that it has a sun shade too.
I can’t wait to go swimming with the boys at the lake.
